Oral Cancer Screenings
We
routinely screen all of our new and existing patients for oral cancer
every 3 to 6 month. This exam consists of a thorough examination
of all the soft tissues of the mouth as well as the face
and neck areas. If a suspicious area is detected in the mouth, we
can test this area with a painless procedure called a "brush biopsy"
where a sample of surface cells are obtained and analyzed without
